What is Ammoseek?

Ammoseek is a comprehensive platform that allows customers to search for ammunition across various local retailers from a single, centralized location.

Utilizing Ammoseek can serve as an additional sales channel for your store, potentially attracting new customers to your website and increasing the opportunity for repeat business.

1. Where is Ammoseek?




Ammoseek is in your site defaults which can be found with Setup > Site Defaults > Ammoseek

2. Joining Ammoseek




Clicking Join Here will take you to ammoseek's signup so you can start utilizing their service

3. Product Feed URL




Your product feed URL will be the link Ammoseek needs to start pulling your items from coreFORCE to ammoseek

4. Is your domain name incorrect in the feed URL?




All you'll need to do is click on the tab for Feeds in your site default options

5. Editing the Domain name




The field for "Primary Domain Name" is what the ammoseek tab pulls from. You'll need to simply edit the URL in there and it will be corrected for your feed

6. Exclude Category Codes




Exclude Category Codes will be used to trim your feed, if you would like to exclude a category you'll need to input the codes separated by a comma

Example : AIRSOFT,APPAREL,RIFLES

7. Finding the Category Code




You'll need to navigate to Products > Categories and under the Product Category Code we will need to copy it exactly as written. Make sure to maintain any underscores!

8. Allow Non-Numeric UPCs




Allow Non-Numeric UPCs will allow you to list local items that may have customized UPC values such as for used items and old items that had one hand crafted

9. Shipping Charge




Shipping Charge will be the value sent over to Ammoseek for the customer to pay for shipping

10. Listing Options




Your options per department are as follows

All Products - All items, Local & Distributors in stock and out of stock

Only In-Stock Products - All Items, Local & Distributors in stock only

All Products at Local Location(s) - Items will need to be available locally

In Stock at Local Location(s) - Items will need to be available locally and in stock

Nothing - Department does not send. For Ammoseek they may require you to turn off every department except for ammunition. This will vary based on Ammoseek's preference. Simply toggle this for each department aside from Ammo and the feed will curate with their request
