coreFORCE Basic/Standard - How To: Customize Featured Products
1. To add products to the Featured Products section, please go to individual product records in coreFORCE Basic/Standard (previously lite) admin.
2. Featured Products from the dropdown list of tags and save it image
3. To change featured brands, please go to Manufacturer Tags under Products, and add a new brand name in the Featured Brands table
_Note: T_o see the list of manufacturers, please go to the Manufacturers page. You can also assign featured brand tag in the individual manufacturer's record page.
4. To change the order of menu items, please go to Departments or Category Groups under the Products tab
If you want to have Firearms in the first place of the dropdown list, please give it the lowest sort order number. Please, open the Departments under the Product tab, select Firearms, and change the sort order to less than 100.
Similarly, you can change other menu items. To change the items in the second level of the dropdown list, please go to the Category Groups page
5. To add a menu item under Shop, please add a department under Products -> Departments
The main menu items you see under Shop are classified as departments in coreFORCE Basic/Standard admin. The dropdown list items are what we call category groups. To add or edit these item menus, we will need to edit settings in Departments, Categories, and Category Groups under the Products tab
6. To add the menu item under Shop, please add a new Department as shown below in the image
7. Next, we need to assign category groups to the categories relevant to the newly added department. To do it, please follow the instructions below
ℹ️ Please, make sure that you have assigned category groups, categories, and items under each department. Without products, you will not be able to see the category groups
