This guide explains how to cancel a **membership** for a customer on your **coreFORCE** site.

**Optional but Recommended:** If the **Recurring Payment ID** is associated with the contact subscription, set the **End Date** to today to prevent any recurring payment attempts on the next billing date.

### 1. Click on Contacts


First navigate to the contacts menu on your coreforce admin page.

### 2. Click on Contacts


Next, select the **Contacts** submenu located under the **Contacts** main menu.

### 3. Customer Search


Use the **search bar** to locate the client whose subscription you wish to cancel.

### 4. Select The Customer


When the search results appear, click on the customer to open their **Contact Record**.

### 5. Click on Member


Go to the **Member** tab within the **Contact Record** to view the client’s active subscriptions.  
In the **Member** tab, you can view the client’s active **subscriptions** and associated **recurring payments**.  
  
**Please Note:** With the latest changes to coreFORCE you now have the ability to mark the clientes membership inactive right from the member tab of the contact screen.

### 6. Subscription Details


Click on the subscription to take to the contact subscription mainteance page here we can set the subscription as inactive.

### 7. Click on Inactive


On the **Contact Subscription Maintenance** page, locate the **Inactive** checkbox and select it to mark the membership as inactive.

### 8. Click on Recurring Payment ID


Click on the **Recurring Payment ID** to modify the payment record and add an **End Date**.

**Optional but Recommended:** If a **Recurring Payment ID** is associated with the contact subscription, set the **End Date** to today to prevent any recurring payment attempts on the next billing date.

### 9. Click on End Date


Find the **End Date** field and enter today’s date to finalize the cancellation.
