What is the coreCLEAR Merchant in coreSTORE?


The coreCLEAR Merchant allows coreSTORE users to process credit card transactions using supported payment gateways and terminals. Depending on the hardware and gateway used, transactions can be viewed through different reporting portals.




What payment gateways are supported under coreCLEAR Merchant?


coreSTORE supports the following gateways:


  • coreCLEAR Gateway
  • iPOS Gateway
  • MX Gateway (legacy)
  • Third-party gateways (Fluidpay and Bluedog)




What is the coreCLEAR Gateway?


The coreCLEAR Gateway is the primary and recommended gateway for coreSTORE.


Supported Terminals:


  • Equinox 6200
  • Equinox 8500


Where can I view transactions?


  • All transactions processed through the coreCLEAR Gateway are available in the coreCLEAR Portal.


Is this recommended for new clients?


  • Yes. This is the preferred gateway for new merchants.




What is the iPOS Gateway?


The iPOS Gateway is used with Dejavoo QD terminals.


Supported Terminals:


  • Dejavoo QD


Where can I view transactions?


  • Credit card transactions can be viewed in the iPOS Portal.




What is the MX Gateway?


The MX Gateway is a legacy gateway used with Dejavoo ZLine terminals.


Supported Terminals:


  • Dejavoo ZLine


Is this still supported?


  • The MX Gateway is no longer supported for new clients.
  • Existing coreSTORE clients who are already using Dejavoo ZLine terminals may continue to use them without interruption.


Where can I view transactions?


  • Transactions processed through the MX Gateway can be viewed in the MX Portal.





For new coreSTORE merchants, we recommend:


  • Equinox 6200 or 8500 (coreCLEAR Gateway)
  • Dejavoo QD terminals (iPOS Gateway)


Dejavoo ZLine terminals are not recommended for new deployments.




Can I use a third-party payment gateway with coreSTORE?


Yes. coreSTORE supports third-party gateways if you are not using coreCLEAR as your merchant processor.


Supported third-party gateways include:


  • Fluidpay
  • Bluedog




How do I set up a third-party gateway?


To use a third-party gateway:


  1. Contact your merchant processor
  2. Request an API Key
  3. Obtain the required terminal information
  4. Enter these details into coreSTORE > Company > Locations > Edit > Registers & Terminals > Config Credit Card processing
  • Choose the processor
  • Add API key and then Save
